Stanley No 4 Type 18 Smoothing Plane -- Corrugated Sole panel saw These tools originally shipped withHere is a nice Stanley No 4C Type 18 smoothing plane made in the 1946 1947 timeframe. It has a heavy cast body indicative of this manufacturing period. The painted hardwood handles are solid, though could be repainted if desired. The body is in excellent condition, as is the original Japanning.
